Meet Tim Hall

I’m Tim Hall. I graduated from Trinity High School, and I’ve lived in this community for more than 40 years — first in Regency Woods and now in Watterson Woods. For the past 15 years, I’ve had the honor of serving as a Jeffersontown City Councilmember.

Driven by Passion.

I don’t take public service for granted. Early on, I lost a re-election — and it humbled me. I earned my way back by listening more, working harder, and showing up with integrity. That experience shaped how I lead: representation is something you earn every day.

On Council, I serve as Chairman of the Economic Development Committee and sit on the Finance Committee. I’ve worked to move Jeffersontown forward with responsible budgeting, smart growth, and strong public safety — including helping deliver a new police station and supporting first responders with training and equipment.

What I believe.

Work + values

I come from a family of entrepreneurs, and I’m now a part-owner of a certified B Corp janitorial company. My story started with a second job — cleaning Walgreens restrooms — while I tried to build something for my family. Through work ethic and opportunity, I moved into leadership and ownership.

Today, our company is a second-chance employer, hiring people coming through recovery programs, paying higher wages than most, offering strong benefits, and running programs that help employees buy a car or even their first home. I believe the dignity of work should come with dignity in pay, benefits, and respect.

Family

I’ve been married for more than 20 years to my high school sweetheart, Emilie. She’s the Office Manager of the IBEW. Our son is an apprentice ironworker, our daughter attends Mercy High School, and our dog Annie Mae keeps us honest at home.

Service

I’m the son of a Vietnam veteran, with family service that includes World War II. I’ve been proud to help support Jeffersontown’s Veterans Park and to join my father on an Honor Flight — reminders that we owe real support to those who served.
