Tim’s Priorities for District 31 and Kentucky
Delivering Results That Matter.
I’m running to deliver results on the issues that matter most to working families and our community.
Making Life More Affordable
Families across Kentucky are feeling squeezed by higher prices on everything from groceries and housing to healthcare and utilities. As a small-business owner and father, I understand those challenges firsthand.
In Frankfort, I’ll fight for policies that lower costs for working families, strengthen our local economy, invest in infrastructure, and create pathways to good-paying jobs so families can build a secure future right here in our community.
Labor & Good-Paying Jobs
Labor isn’t political to me — it’s personal. My wife works at the IBEW, and my son is an apprentice Ironworker. I’ll be a strong partner for working people and organized labor in Frankfort, and I’ll fight for:
Good-paying jobs with strong benefits
Apprenticeships and workforce pipelines
Fairness for workers and respect on the job
Veterans’ Healthcare & Support
I didn’t serve, but I was raised to honor those who did. As the son of a Vietnam veteran, I’ll work to strengthen support for veterans, including:
Access to quality healthcare and mental health services
Education and job training support for veterans (including trades)
Strong local veteran resources and outreach
Public Safety & First Responders
Public safety is a priority. On City Council, I supported funding for training and equipment and helped deliver a more secure police station. I’ll keep advocating for:
Training, staffing, and equipment for first responders
Community partnerships that prevent crime
Smart planning so growth doesn’t outpace safety
Infrastructure & Smart Growth
Kentucky has to do the basics well. Roads, bridges, and infrastructure drive safety, growth, and quality of life. I’ll fight for:
Responsible infrastructure funding
Safer roads and improved traffic planning
Growth that strengthens neighborhoods and local businesses
Practical Education & Workforce Readiness
Every family wants their child to have a real future. We should prepare students for success — whether that means college, the trades, or military service. I support:
Career and technical education and trade pathways
Apprenticeship partnerships
Early learning readiness, including Pre-K investments
